The mission of the IRB for the Protection of Human Subjects is:
1. To protect the rights and welfare of human research subjects by thorough review of all projects conducted at CAMC
2. To ensure compliance with institutional policies and federal regulations
3. To provide education to research investigators and staff to ensure the ethical and safe use of human subjects

ISRB – Institutional Scientific Review Board

The mission of the ISRB is:
1. To support and strengthen the scientific validity of investigator initiated research reviewed by the IRB

IACUC – Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee

The mission of the IACUC is:
1. To ensure compliance with institutional policies and federal regulations for research on animals

Meetings and Deadlines

The IRB meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
The ISRB meets on the second Monday of each month.
The IACUC meets as needed on the third Wednesday of each month.
