Graduate Year 1 Pharmay Residency
Charleston Area Medical Center ’s PGY1 pharmacy residency is an ASHP accredited program. The focus of this program is to provide residents with an extensive range of pharmacy practice experiences tailored to meet individual needs and interests. This is accomplished through clinical and non-clinical rotations of four to six weeks in length.
Mission Statement
Pharmacists completing the PGY1 residency program at CAMC will be confident, independent practitioners with the ability to function as competent members of multidisciplinary teams. They will be capable of providing direct patient care to a diverse group of patients, as well as educating healthcare professionals and students on pharmaceutical care issues.
