Graduate Year 1 Pharmacy Residency
Charleston Area Medical Center ’s PGY1 pharmacy residency is an ASHP accredited program. The focus of this program is to provide residents with an extensive range of pharmacy practice experiences tailored to meet individual needs and interests. This is accomplished through clinical and non-clinical rotations of four to six weeks in length.
Mission Statement
Pharmacists completing the PGY1 residency at CAMC will be competent self-directed learners possessing leadership and professional skills with the confidence and ability to excel in diverse practice environments. They will exhibit a commitment to the profession and be equipped to meet the challenges of current and future pharmacy practice.
