Post Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) – Geriatric Pharmacy

The Charleston Area Medical Center/West Virginia University Pharmacy Residency in Geriatrics consists of 12 months training and experience in the provision of pharmacotherapy to older adults in a variety of care settings. The resident tailors the residency to his or her interests and professional goals, while developing a basic foundation for clinical practice in geriatric pharmacy. Upon completion of the PGY2 residency, the clinician will be prepared to seek a variety of careers, including those in clinical care and academic pharmacy settings. The PGY2 geriatric residency is seeking ASHP accreditation.
