Each year over 250,000 people experience sudden cardiac arrest
in the United States. When this happens, a person's heart quits
beating and unless they get help within minutes, they will die.
The Life Support Training Center's CPR and AED training programs
are designed to teach people how to respond to these life-threatening
emergencies.
CPR,
or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, in the process of supplying
rescue breaths and chest compressions to individuals experiencing
cardiac arrest. Automated External Defibrillators, or AEDs, are
lightweight, portable devices that allow rescuers the ability
to give an electrical shock to the victim that can restore a heartbeat.
The Life Support Training Center offers several different programs
at varying lengths aimed at meeting your organization's needs.
