Asthma Education for Primary Care Providers
This program, “Asthma Education for Primary Care Providers” is intended to serve as an educational resource for all health care providers who treat persons with asthma. The topics were selected because they represent some of the “best practices” for asthma management across the age span.

Osteoporosis Prevention Education Program
This program is intended to provide primary care providers the latest information on the management of patients with osteoporosis. In 1996, the West Virginia Legislature created the Osteoporosis Prevention Education Act. This act allowed for the development of strategies to educate consumers, physicians, and health professionals on the risk factors, diet and exercise, diagnostic procedures, drug therapies, injury prevention, and treatment of osteoporosis.

Diabetes Education for the Primary Care Provider
Important components of this educational series include promoting the delivery of evidenced-based medical care, medical nutritional therapy, self-care management training and diabetes pharmacotherapy.
Upon completion of this program, Diabetes Education for Primary Care Providers , West Virginia Medicaid Providers will be eligible for reimbursement from West Virginia Bureau for Medical Services to provide patient education for West Virginians with diabetes

Palliative Care, Pain Management,
Decision Making and Use of the Post Form
The program is designed for all physician specialties, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, social workers and other allied health professionals.
